We are pleased to announce the Call for Abstract and Open Forum (unconference) topics for the ASEAN-QA Forum 2021 with the theme “The Way Forward: Assuring Quality in Diverse and Remote Learning Environments”. This year’s Forum, which will happen on December 2-3, 2021, is organised by the ASEAN-Quality Assurance Association (ASEAN-QAA), in collaboration with the Finance Accreditation Agency (FAA), Society for Malaysian Higher Education Institutions Quality Assurance Network (MyQAN), and hosted by Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN), Malaysia.
The ASEAN-QA Association (ASEAN-QAA) will hold the final session of the ASEAN-QA Online Forum 2020 with the theme Drivers for Change: Quality Assurance in Times of Disruption and Innovation on November 25-27, 2020. This is the culmination of the series started in July that focused on the shift to online teaching and learning.
The 3rd Online Forum, “Going Digital: Assuring Quality in Assessment” will be held on 30th September, 2020, 2:00 pm (Jakarta/Bangkok time, GMT +7) via zoom (hosted by the University of the Philippines). This Forum will focus on how HEIs with different contexts and different levels of experiences conduct online assessments, and how QA can better support HEI management navigate the whole assessment process during this pandemic.

This is to kindly inform you that due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the ASEAN-QA Association, in its recent Executive Board Meeting, has decided to postpone the ASEAN-QA Forum 2020 that was supposed to be held on 8-9 October 2020 at the University of the Philippines (UP), Diliman, Quezon City, Philippines. This decision was based on data that say the world will be theoretically free from COVID-19 by 14th December 2020 (SIR model from a recent study by the Singapore University of Technology and Design on predictive monitoring of COVID-19).
